About Mindy

I cannot recommend Mindy highly enough. She began working with our family in 2021 as a part-time companion and caregiver for my husband, Ron. Over the next five years, as his needs became increasingly complex, Mindy gradually took on more and more responsibility and ultimately became an indispensable part of our family and our lives. Mindy has an extraordinary range of abilities. She handled virtually every aspect of caregiving, helped organize and run our household, coordinated with additional caregivers as our needs grew, and eventually took on many of the responsibilities of a care manager. She was someone I could rely on to recognize what needed to be done and simply take care of it. What makes Mindy exceptional, however, goes far beyond her competence. She is incredibly loyal, honest, dependable, hardworking, compassionate, and genuinely caring. When you are entrusting someone with the care of a person you love, character matters enormously. I trusted Mindy completely. She also brought something that became incredibly important during some very difficult years: a wonderful sense of humor. She knew when to be serious, when to be compassionate, and when we simply needed to laugh. She became much more than someone who worked for us—she became part of our family. Mindy was equally wonderful with our dogs and animals. She cared for them with the same patience, affection, and responsibility that she brought to everything else. My husband has since passed away, and that is the only reason Mindy is no longer needed in the caregiving role she held with our family. In truth, while I may be letting her go professionally, I will never be letting her go as a friend. Her support did not end when my husband died. She has helped me tremendously through the loss and through the difficult transition that followed, and I will always be deeply grateful for the kindness, steadiness, and friendship she has shown me. After nearly five years of having Mindy beside us through an extraordinarily demanding chapter of our lives, I can say without hesitation that she is one of those rare people you are fortunate to find. I would trust her with someone I love, my home, my animals, and the responsibilities that matter most. Anyone fortunate enough to have Mindy working with or caring for their family will be getting an exceptional caregiver, care manager, and human being. She has my strongest possible recommendation.
