About Mindy

Since high school, I've worked with a variety of children in various capacities. I've worked with typically developing children, as well as special needs children. I've worked with children through babysitting and day cares, as well as teaching in preschools and, most recently, in a moderate to severe special education classroom for grades K-2. Not only have I worked with children in a paid capacity, but as a volunteer, as well. I've volunteered with children at my church, both in the nursery and with older children. I've also been a one-on-one for children with special needs at my church when the need has arisen. I have taken many child development classes, which has lead to a greater understanding of how to work with children. Those classes have been invaluable to my growth and development as a child care provider. For more fun info about me: I love to be outside and I love animals (despite having some allergies to the furry ones). I am also CPR and First Aid trained.
