About Mina

My goal with tuturing is to give my students confidence while cultivating their curiosity and love of learning. I love helping young minds understand new subjects and I find it very important to make them feel comfortable while doing so. I prioritize patience in my approach and making children feel safe to make mistakes as that is how we learn new things. With three years of experience, I specialize in helping students from elementary through high school master Math, English, Science, Spanish, and test preparation. I hold a bachelors degree in Psychology and Art from UVa and have graduate studies from Parsons in design. I spent most of 20s and 30s managing my own design business but now that I am in my 40s, I am inspired to work directly with youth and inspire confidence and curiosity thru one on one learning.
