We hired Mimi last October, to be a caregiver/companion, and assist our 70yr mother with meal preparation, grocery shopping, running errands, driving to and from doctor's visits, etc. She seemed pleasant and up to the task. We offered suggestions re how she could assist/engage our mother and she seemed onboard, she suggested having a daily activity log, we welcomed that as we thought it would be a good way to stay abreast of our mother's progress, however, we told her a text of the days' general activities would be fine. If she mentioned something in her text that was of concern, we would have a follow-up call with her. We asked Mimi a few times over the almost 4 months she worked with my mother if she was still happy with the job, she said she was and never once raised a concern. By late January our mother had become increasingly uncomfortable driving, not only is she a new inexperienced driver but it was also becoming a safety concern. We had an in-person meeting with Mimi to discuss and ask that going forward she take over the driving. The meeting went well and she seemed to be on board. The next day she sent our mother a VERY rude, disrespectful text saying she is no longer comfortable with the job, she wasn't hired so my mother could become dependent on her. She goes on to point out that she is not a chauffeur and she isn't comfortable with spying on my mother and reporting back to us. Excluding the recent change, (her taking over the driving) the job description had not changed. My mother also noticed a change in her overall attitude and willingness to perform certain parts of her job. Mimi had multiple opportunities to raise any concerns or let us know that she wasn't happy and would be leaving. We were disappointed and expected more professionalism.

Mimi is very reliable and responsible. She is trustworthy and goes above and beyond her tasks. She was a valuable asset to my family. She would be a great candidate to your company.

Mimi did a wonderful job of taking care of my grandmother while I was at work. Their bond was natural and effortless.
