I'd describe my personality as compassionate, dedicated, friendly I like working with kids because as the mom of 5 children who are all adults, 4 of my children have developmental disabilities. I have experience with Autism (3 children), Down syndrome (1 child), Cerebral palsy (1 child), and psychiatric conditions. I also have experience with tube feedings (my 2 boys, age 22 and 23 who have mickey buttons). I started working with kids when I was 19 and a new mom to my first born daughter. (she now is 37yrs old) My daughter who was born with Down syndrome was delivered when I was 22 years old.
