If you're even thinking of hiring Mimi.... JUST DO IT! You will NOT be disappointed! She is truly an angel on earth that I can not recommend highly enough! As I live in NY, I hired Mimi for companion care for my Mom who was experiencing severe dementia sundowning. She exceeded any expectation I had! She is gentle and compassionate and put my Mom at ease right away. She quickly assessed my Mom's needs and advocated on her/my behalf with aides, med techs and nursing staff until those needs were met. She graciously followed my Mom as she transitioned from her assisted living facility to the hospital and finally to a skilled nursing facility. In addition to meeting my Mom's needs and advocating on her behalf, she lovingly soothed and eased my Mom's intense anxiety, using multiple techniques. During my Mom's last days, she (and her wonderful husband) came and sat with my Mom for hours at a time throughout the day/night, playing soothing music for her, softly stroking her arm and making sure she felt loved as she transitioned. They also assisted with taking her belongings to the donation center. She was a godsend and I am eternally grateful! Your loved one will be in great hands!
