About Mimi

Hi! I'm Mimi, and I have over seven years of experience working with children in both classroom and home settings. I spent five years as a preschool teacher in programs that incorporated Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and social constructivist approaches, giving me a well-rounded understanding of early childhood education. I also worked as a nanny for a little boy from ages four to six, and have experience as a postpartum doula supporting families during the newborn stage. I love working with kids, and patience comes naturally to me. I enjoy creating hands-on learning experiences through crafts, outdoor adventures, and play-based activities that encourage curiosity and creativity. My background in child development has taught me how deeply the early years shape who we become, which is why I believe they should be filled with fun, joy, and love.
