About Milo

Hi! My name is Milo, and I just moved here from Lawrence, Kansas. I love to work with kids because it gives me a chance to exercise my creative side (and my love of problem-solving)! I've babysat for various families since I was in high school, and for children ranging in age from 6 months to 12 years old. Most recently, I worked as a teacher's assistant at a Child Development Center in Lawrence before my partner and I moved to Portland. I loved my job there so much - I worked primarily with children around 2 and a half. Our class size was around 10, so I feel comfortable taking care of many children at once. I absolutely love working with toddlers especially; they are such a joy and I love watching them learn and grow. Working with children this age has strengthened my skills in conflict resolution and amplified my patience, to be sure!
