I am CPR/First Aid Certified and I recently moved back to Miami from Denver where I worked as a Behavior Technician, assisting in providing behavior therapy for children with special needs for 2 years. In 2020, I graduated from Florida State University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Child development. For the past 5 years, I've nannied for several families with kids ranging in age from 5 months old to 13 years old. However, I have the most experience with infants. In addition to my nanny experience, I've been a preschool teacher and a summer camp counselor 4 separate summers for the YCMA and Miami-Dade County Parks. I'm a responsible, detailed, yet fun nanny that works hard to make sure the children are safe and happy while also diligently implementing parents rules. I can also provide references if needed. We had Millie sit our five month and two year old for a week last week and I can only say great things about her. When she comes in your house she immediately feels like a part of the fam and our kids warmed up to her instantly. She has experience with young babies so it was so nice to be able to work and trust that she was taking great care of my kids, which is saying a lot because I don't trust people with my kids easily at all. She asked a lot of thoughtful questions when we chatted before hiring her, which made our first day go so smoothly. It's was huge difference having Millie over, who is a real professional with kids and aware of social and emotional teachings, than your average babysitter! She'll treat your kids like real little people who need to be seen,heard, and respected. that matters!! I would definitely have Millie over again if our schedules line up again!
