About Milka

For the past five years, I have had the privilege and responsibility of being a caretaker, an experience that has shaped me in profound ways. I cared for my husband through his battle with cancer and later, when he suffered a stroke, we discovered he had brain cancer (CNS Lymphoma). Over the course of two years, I supported him through chemotherapy, therapy, and the emotional and physical toll of his illness. During this time, I became intimately familiar with the demands of full-time care--both the challenges and the rewards. In addition to my role as a caregiver for my husband, I have also cared for my 4-year-old granddaughter for the past three years. Although I am not formally certified, my experiences have honed my ability to be compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy. I truly cherish the time I spend with those I care for, and I find immense fulfillment in being of service to others, always with an open heart and an understaing ear.
