I used to work in a dementia facility caring for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. I would play games, exercise, do crafts, and keep the residents entertained throughout the day. I currently work as a Behavioral Technician for children with autism. We work together on behaviors that either reduce independence or cause harm to oneself or others. I log my data which gets reviewed by the BCBA and we work together on new goals and interventions.
