About Mila

Hello, my name is Mila (Mee-luh)! I just graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with my Bachelors in social work in May, where I am now pursuing my Masters in social work, with a concentration in advanced clinical care, focusing on child, youth, and family services. I am very passionate about nurturing children's growth and making a positive impact on their lives through strengths-based care. Within my last position as a social/emotional support preschool teacher, I worked with children on the spectrum in developing emotional identification and regulation skills. With over six years of experience in teaching positions and babysitting roles, I have cared for children of all ages, from infants to adolescents. I prioritize collaborating with parents through open communication to understand your priorities and preferences. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children simultaneously, assisting with various tasks around the home, and commuting children if needed!
