About Milan

Hello there! I am Milan (Me-Lawn). I'm a recent college graduate from Sacramento State. I received my Bachelors in Communication Sciences & Disorders. I'm awaiting to attend a Speech Language Pathology Assistant program at the San Joaquin Delta College in August. I have experience in both academic and in home settings. I have work experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician. I mainly worked with ages 4-5 years old with special needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder & Intellectual Disability. I have experience and training in teaching social skills, potty training, deescalation techniques and individualized approaches to care. I am a dedicated to providing a neurodivergent affirming approach. I also have experience working in a dual immersion school setting. I provided literacy tutoring for Kindergarten through 4th grade. I created and executed lesson plans, encouraged a love of reading, and learned how to interact lesson plans in a group setting.
