Hello, I have hands on experience caring for person suffering from Dementia and Alzheimers. I took care of my mom for over 11 years and she has since passed. I have a degree in Sociology and active volunteer for Alzheimers organization and battered woman organization. I am looking to continue to help care to people afflicted with Dementia in honor of my mom. I currently have a patient who suffers from Alzheimer. I can help with activities to help stimulate their brain functions, read books or magazine with the client, take them to doctors appointment, errands, prepare light meal; and companionship. I am looking for client that still has mobility and still able to use the bathroom with limited assistance. No heavy lifting but will help bathing female clients.
