About Milagros

Millie was a nanny for our family for 2 years (Fall 2011-Spring 2014), beginning when our son and daughter were 1 and 3 yrs old respectively. Millie readily stood out from the many people we interviewed for our nanny position based on the way she engaged so playfully with our children from the very first day she met them. We were focused on finding a caregiver who would be safe and reliable, and who would create a fun-loving, nurturing atmosphere for our children - and she did just that. While other nannies would sit on a park bench and watch the kids play, Millie would be out there playing with them. She has a positive spirit and truly enjoys her profession and the children in her care. As an added bonus, she is fluent in Spanish and, at our request, helped our children pick up the language quite readily through song and everyday activities. Millie could always be counted on to arrive promptly in the mornings, and she was very flexible about schedule changes and staying later if need be. This flexibility was much appreciated by a family with two parents working out of the home. We wish Millie the best and know that she will make a good match with another lucky family soon.
