About Mikki

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With over 20 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in elementary reading intervention. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, and my goal is to foster a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I adapt my methods to your child's specific needs by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions. By celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement, I keep students motivated through even the most challenging concepts. Open communication with parents is essential to my process, as it builds the trust necessary for student growth. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I look forward to supporting your child's academic journey and helping them build the confidence they need to thrive.
