About Mikinley

Hi! I'm Mikinley a CPR-certified caregiver with 5 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to school-age. I currently work in a childcare center and am earning my degree in Media Communications. I'm also a board member for The Compassion Project, which focuses on bringing mindfulness to youth using art therapy and emotional regulation practices. I practice mindfulness daily and it's something I bring into my care. I'm warm, reliable, and deeply committed to helping children feel safe, heard, and supported. I believe that every moment is a chance to build trust and connection. I approach each child as a whole person, tuning into their unique needs and interests. Whether we're diving into imaginative play, moving through daily routines, or working through big feelings, I bring patience, creativity, and calm presence. My goal is always to help children feel confident in themselves and cared for exactly as they are
