About Mikeya

Hi! I'm a stay-at-home mom offering in-home childcare for one additional child to join our daily routine. I'm engaging, adaptable, and nurturing, with experience as a daycare assistant teacher in both infant and preschool classrooms, plus babysitting for friends and family. My home is smoke-free, pet-free, and in a safe suburban neighborhood. I've created a dedicated play and learning space with toy rotation, a sensory table, and a backyard with outdoor toys. There's also a park in our subdivision. Our days are play-based and child-led, including sensory play, crafts, music, reading, outdoor exploration, and occasional outings to the library or play gyms. I follow a gentle caregiving approach and am comfortable with baby-led weaning, diapering, potty training, and naps. I'm available 6 AM-6 p.m. and prefer caring for one child close in age to my toddler or my baby due in August. I provide snacks and meals, welcome meet-and-greets, and am happy to complete background checks.
