Mikey cared for my dad during the last few months of his life, and I honestly don’t have the words to express how much that meant to our family. My dad had ALS, and it’s not an easy road, but Mikey made it feel less heavy. He showed up every day with heart, humor, and the kind of presence that makes people feel truly seen. He teased my dad, told him stories, took him on little adventures, made him belly laugh like no one else could, and gave him the full spa treatment every night. He helped my dad live with dignity, but also with joy, mischief, and connection. It takes a special kind of person to show up like that day after day. Mikey is that person.
