About Mikayla

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, attentive, empathetic, reliable, honest, patient, creative, bubbly, and adaptable. I love working with kids because I enjoy creating a safe, supportive environment where they feel cared for, understood, and encouraged to grow. I'm looking for a warm, respectful family with open communication and a role that includes learning, creativity, play, and structure in daily life. I started working with kids my sophomore year at BSU while studying psychology, completing an internship at a children's therapy center. I then worked as a pediatric behavioral interventionist for 2 years before becoming a nanny in Boise. After moving back to San Diego, I've continued working with children in home settings. In my free time, I enjoy working out, going to the beach, quality time with loved ones, game nights, baking sourdough, and trying new recipes! One thing you should know about me is I am a Christian and I love the Lord!
