About Mikayla

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary students in Math, English, Science, and Art, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's unique learning style through active listening and open communication, ensuring our sessions remain engaging and effective. Whether we are connecting complex concepts to real-world interests or celebrating small academic wins, I prioritize critical thinking and curiosity. I believe clear, consistent communication with families is essential for fostering a collaborative environment where students truly thrive. Seeing a student experience an "aha!" moment as they master a new skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to partnering with you to make learning a joyful and successful journey for your child.
