Mikayla has cared for my daughter from the time she was 4 months to 2 years old both for regular daytime care (two days a week) and occasional evenings and weekends. As a parent I feel like we got so lucky when we found Mikayla via Care.com on our first try - she is always on time, communicative, reliable and beyond trustworthy. Over the past two years Mikayla has helped us navigate so many milestones and transitions with my daughter - first as a little baby starting solids, now as big personality toddler - and she never skips a beat. She loves my daughter and is always kind, patient, caring and calm with her. Mikayla is great at keeping her active, going on walks to the park and building her confidence out in the world. At home they read books, sing songs, color, snuggle, and just have the sweetest relationship. Mikayla handles meals, naps, and transitions seamlessly and always tidies up. She has become like a member of our family and a true partner in raising our first child. It is a great feeling as a mom to be able to leave your child with someone like that who truly, deeply cares! Our daughter will be starting school 5 days a week, otherwise we would love to keep Mikayla forever and I would hire her all over again in a heartbeat if we have another child.
