About Mikayla

I love working with kids because it is so rewarding to be a part of watching a child grow mentally and physically. I've worked with many children, and watching them grow up and become their own person is why I do it. Every child is different and that's what makes it so exciting, I love being able to support and guide them as they discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop their unique personalities. I started working with kids when I was 17, i'm now 21 and have worked with infants up to pre school age but I have spent the most time with toddlers! One thing you should know about me is I love to do fun crafts and spend lots of time outdoors! My skills include having patience, communication and empathy. These are extremely important skills, especially with young children learning how to deal with new emotions! I do my best to always be understanding and empathetic when it comes to children learning and understanding new things!
