About Mikayla

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion. For the past four years, I've had the privilege of working with children aged 2-11, creating a safe and fun environment where they can thrive. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I also love crafts and art of all kinds, so I tend to work very well with creative children. I have some college experience, and since I am the oldest sibling, I am well versed in helping with homework. As a substitute teacher's aide, I have experience working with special needs. I'm happy to help with meal prep, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I always follow the parents' lead and preferred communication method. Knowing I can make a positive impact on a child's life brings me hope, and I look forward to the opportunity to care for your little ones.
