About Mikayla

I like caring for seniors because I developed a passion for caring for seniors through personal experience supporting family members with cancer and dementia. Growing up in an environment where caregiving was a part of daily life taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and attentiveness. I witnessed firsthand how meaningful compassionate care can be, not only in meeting physical needs but also in preserving dignity and emotional well-being. These experiences shaped my ability to connect with individuals facing complex health challenges and gave me a strong appreciation for the unique needs of older adults. I am especially drawn to creating a supportive, respectful environment where seniors feel valued, heard, and comfortable. Caring for others is more than a responsibility to me, it is a purpose rooted in my background and strengthened by my commitment to providing thoughtful, person-centered care.
