Hi! I currently am a program director for a 245D group home, working with adults who have physical and cognitive disabilities. I've been doing this for 3 years and absolutely love it. I've worked with individuals with a large range of cognitive functions and physical abilities. I practice Person Centered Planning religiously; seeking out what individuals I work with enjoy, what they're good at, and what their preferences are as a basis to come up with the best plan to work with them. I'm going to school for Social Work and plan on using my degree to work with Adults with Disabilities and other Older Adults. I also have 3 years experience as a nanny, as well as teachers assistant and teacher in a daycare setting.
