About Mikayla

Hi! My name is Mikayla, and I currently work for the Longview School District as a Behavior Technician in the ABA field. I have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, including children with behavioral and developmental needs, and 4 years of professional ABA experience. I attended Clark College and completed coursework toward my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Working with children has always been my passion. Since I work through the school year, I have summers off and am looking to provide summer childcare in my home. I also have children of my own at home during the summer, so I'm looking for a family who would be a great fit for a calm, family-oriented environment. I'm dependable, patient, creative, and experienced with routines, emotional regulation, behavior support, and engaging activities for children. I truly enjoy helping kids feel successful, understood, and cared for.
