About Mikayla

I have been a SAHM for almost 12 years & have 3 kids ages 11, 7, & 3. I'm now searching for a part time job! I'm excited to start nannying, as I believe my experience as a mom, my understanding of what is necessary to insure children's safety and wellbeing, and my former education in Early Childhood Development would make me a great nanny. I've always had a passion and talent for nurturing and caring for young children. I have babysat for many families with children between the ages of 1 and 7. I volunteered in my church's nursery and took many early childhood development classes. In high school I worked in the childcare center. I gained knowledge and skills working with kids ages 0-4. I gained experience preparing snacks/meals, planning and facilitating age appropriate activities, crafts, games and educational material, and aiding children in play. I am receiving certification in CPR and First Aid in August. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
