About Mikala

Nurturing young minds is truly a passion of mine. With one year of experience caring for children aged 4-11, I find immense joy in fostering their growth and development. I work at an elementary school with special education, and it has taught me to be patient, creative, and friendly, and I aim to make a positive impact on the lives of the children in my care. I have completed some college as a music major. I am comfortable caring for up to two children. I provide regular updates to parents via text or phone call, and I always follow their preferred communication methods. I also follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and even some technology-based games with children. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I have a car and I'm comfortable with pets.
