About Mikah

I cared for an elderly gentleman for a year, and it was such a special experience for me. While in hospice, he had dementia and was bedridden. I cared for him six nights a week, checking on him every few hours to make sure he was okay. In the evenings, I would watch basketball with him and prepare his dinner. I kept him company, brushed his teeth, and changed his diapers and bed linens as needed. I miss him a lot. Caring for him brought me great joy and helped me realize how much I enjoy caring for others and would love to work in senior care again.
