About Mikaella

Hi! My name is Mikaella, and I'm currently a senior at the University of Scranton working toward my bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I have six years of babysitting experience caring for children ages 1-8, as well as three years of experience working as a substitute paraprofessional for the New York City Department of Education. Through my work as a paraprofessional, I've also gained experience working with children in special education and supporting children with a variety of needs. These experiences have helped me develop strong skills in patience, communication, behavior support, and creating a safe, positive, and comfortable environment for children. I'm responsible, caring, dependable, and genuinely enjoy working with kids. I love keeping children engaged through play and activities while also making sure they feel safe, supported, and comfortable.
