About Mikaela

Nurturing children's growth and development is a true passion of mine. My decade of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, has only strengthened this calling. I hold a college degree and have completed Early Child Development Coursework, along with First Aid Training and CPR Training. Check out my LinkedIn for a deeper dive into my experience! In August I will be starting an online Speech Language Pathology Masters Program through Ithaca College. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules, and I always follow parents' preferred communication method to keep them informed. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I can comfortably care for up to five children. Ultimately, I hope to create a safe and fun environment where your children can thrive.
