About Mikaela

Working with kids has always been something I genuinely love! I am studying Early Childhood and Special Education at the University of Pittsburgh and have about three years of experience helping in kindergarten and preschool classrooms, along with caring for my niece and nephew. I love helping kids learn, grow, and have fun through games, crafts, outdoor activities, and everyday interaction. I would describe myself as patient, caring, dependable, and very hands-on. My goal is always to make children feel safe, comfortable, and supported while creating a fun and positive environment. I'm also a strong swimmer and am comfortable supervising swimming and water activities. I'm happy to help with meals, homework, rides, bedtime routines, and anything else that helps make things easier for your family. I also value strong communication so parents always feel comfortable while their children are in my care.
