About Mikaela

I'd describe myself as uplifting, positive, and purpose-driven. I'm intentional in how I show up and value creating genuine, meaningful connections. I love caring for seniors because I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. I enjoy bringing comfort, purpose, and engagement into each visit. I have 12 years of experience as a CNA and 3+ years in senior engagement and activity programming. I currently serve as an Activity Director with strong experience in dementia and long-term care. In my spare time, I enjoy being active, spending time with my dogs, and doing creative projects like painting and crafts. My faith guides how I care for others, and I enjoy giving back through volunteering. Families should know that I truly care--I build real connections and create meaningful, comforting experiences. My strengths include connection, engagement, and dementia-informed support.
