About Miguel

Hi! My name is Miguel, and I'll be attending UCSD this fall. I was born in Medellín, Colombia, but grew up in Miami, FL before attending The Blake School, a private boarding school in Minneapolis, MN. While there, I maintained a 3. 7 GPA and took rigorous courses such as AP Physics, AP Literature, and AP Calculus. In addition, I led several research projects, the most impactful being my study on how physical spaces influence emotional well-being and productivity, which I presented at the University of Pennsylvania. I have over three years of tutoring experience, both in-person at Kumon and online through private sessions. My primary areas of focus have been Mathematics, English, Science, and Language Arts.
