About Mickie

I'd describe my personality as sweet, easy going, and affectionate. I like working with kids because I get to bond and share special memories with them while being a kid myself! I enjoy caring for them and attending to their needs. It is very rewarding and natural to me. I started working with kids this past year. I've worked mostly with toddlers through short term assignments and family and friends. I have a 3-year-old Australian Sheppard (Kodi) and a 6-year-old Mini Golden-doodle (Ollie). Kodi has a lot of energy and loves wrestling his bro. He keeps Ollie young. I enjoy playing with them, taking them to the dog park, or going on hikes. They are part of the fam and make the best cuddle buddies. In my spare time, I like to play beach volleyball, hike, and read. I am reliable and trustworthy. My skills include problem solving, communicating, and showing compassion.
