About Michelle

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in making Math and English accessible and engaging. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my strategies--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your specific needs. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I prioritize open communication with you and your family to ensure we are always aligned on your progress. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to supporting your growth and making learning a truly enjoyable experience.
