About Michelle

I have a Child Development/Early Childhood Education Degree as well as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. I have worked with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers for over 25 years in various capacities. (Licensed Family Childcare provider on a Naval Base, Center Director, Montessori Teacher, Parent Educator, and Private Nanny) I have also worked with children and adults with special needs. As a Nurse I worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients and in Behavioral Health facilities. I currently live on a farm and operate a small Montessori Homeschool styled program. I provide 1:1 care as well as small groups of no more than 3 children. I provide clean, nutritious meals where the children are encouraged to participate in growing, harvesting, and assist in preparing. We spend time outside in all types of weather, care for farm animals, grow and harvest food, The classroom is prepared with Montessori lessons. Our daughter loves going to Michelle’s house and she always comes home with stories of the fun they’ve had that day. Whether it be exposure to nature, gardening, cooking, arts&crafts, lessons on the farm, or other montessori-inspired teachings, I am confident that our daughter is receiving the best possible care when she’s with Michelle.
