About Michelle

Hello there, my name is Michelle. I'm an experienced Nanny, PreK teacher and babysitter with over 20 years experience. I love to do art, science, reading and cooking projects with kids; enjoy day trips to local parks, libraries, learning centers, hiking trails etc and I'm a big believer in children having fun, tactile experiences, teachable moments and creating built associations- because when theyre doing this by having fun, they're learning so much more than by paperwork/flash cards and rote memorization. I also promote many different social and emotional skills ranging from emotion identification, problem solving with words, independence and life skills as well as helping children see that the world is a wonderfully unique and different place, and above all kindness and their actions and responsibilities matter.
