I have been care giving children since I was 11 years old, from newborns to approximately 14 years of age. Babysitting was my first paying job! My experience with special needs individuals is both a family home environment and state structured home. My uncle was special needs and I was with him in my home growing up until he died at the age of 48. He had seizures and at times speech impediments. I have worked with special needs individuals for the state of Texas ages ranging from pre-teens to full adult hood. Also, I have assisted friends and family with their child care needs. Those times have included school vacations, times of illness, running errands and date nights. Animal LOVER: cats, dogs, birds and some reptiles such as iguanas. I have references for child care of all ages, special needs individuals, the elderly, pet sitting and house sitting. I do know first aide and CPR, however, I am not currently certified.
