About Michelle

Over the past 12 years, my passion for animals has fueled my desire to volunteer at animal shelters, rescues, and foster organizations. In this capacity, I have handled animals ranging from rodents, birds, reptiles, small breed dogs, and cats. In addition, I have come to focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and placing what some would call difficult bully breeds, such as Pitbulls, Bulldogs as well as Dobermans, and Cane Corsos, into forever homes. As a veterinary technician, I have over five years of experience working in walk-in animal clinics, as well as an AHHA accredited hospital. I thrive in high stress, high pressured environments. I interned with the Lake County Animal Control Center to shadow an animal control officer. I have competitively shown and trained horses my entire life. I currently own a 18-year-old Quarter horse gelding that I showed all through college. I am an over all animal lover and will treat each pet as if they are my own!
