About Michelle

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With six years of experience as a Certified teacher, and certified literacy specialist, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math and become confident readers. I believe that every learner thrives when provided with personalized support, so I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or guided discussions--to suit your unique style. I keep you engaged by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every "aha!" moment along the way. Open communication with families is essential to my process, as it fosters a collaborative environment for your success. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to creating a patient, supportive space where you truly enjoy learning. I look forward to helping you grow.
