About Michelle

Hi! I'm Michelle, a mother of two teenagers with over a decade of experience caring for children from newborns to teens. I'm passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where kids can learn, play, and grow. I founded and ran True Hill Academy, a small learning program where I developed curricula in literacy, social studies, mindfulness, and creative arts. I've worked with children with ADHD and Autism and focus on inclusivity, patience, and empathy in all aspects of care. I've also taught English and writing online to children and teens worldwide, strengthening my ability to tailor lessons to individual needs and communicate effectively with families. I enjoy creative, hands-on activities--from arts and crafts to fiber arts--and love making learning fun and meaningful. Organized, reliable, and compassionate, I strive to support children's academic, social, and emotional growth while providing a warm, engaging, and safe environment.
