About Michelle

As the oldest of 7 children, I have been caring for children since I was only 9 myself. I have raised my own son and daughter, now 31 and 27. I have an education degree from UW-Milwaukee (1987). I taught for Milwaukee Public Schools for a total of 5 years before getting married. For the past 8 years I have worked as both a substitute teacher (for multiple districts) and as an After school Leader for the City of Waukesha. I have worked as a nanny before and really enjoyed it. I cared for one girl in Chicago while I was attending school there (1992). I was a nanny to two adventurous boys in Waukesha for the summer of 2015. I am an excellent reading teacher and love to tutor. I can help your child learn to read or learn/improve in any academic subject for grade 6 and below. I believe that a child's day should be filled with fun and laughter, play and outdoor explores. I absolutely love children and so enjoy spending the day with them. I hope to be a great fit for a great family.
