I've been a Certify Nursing Aide(CNA) in the state of Florida since 2003. Before, I was a Patient Care Aide(PCA) in the state of New York. My duties are meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, assist with bathe, assist with dress, grooming/personal hygiene, oral care, transfer, incontinent care, toileting, assist with eating, walking and medications self-administration. I'm knowledgeable with Alzheimer, Parkinson, Diabetes, COPD, Cancer, Vascular, Multiple Sclerosis Diseases. Wheelchairs, Mechanical beds, Hoyer Lift usages. I love getting to know my clients, about their sicknesses and getting involved in their daily necessities in caring for them. Every patients are different, it can be quite challenging but that's what makes it more interesting. Being a CNA helps me to be more patient and humble.

Michelle took care of my mom for the last 4 years as if she was her own mom. She is an excellent and professional care taker who became a part of our family. She has a heart of gold and a smile so big that it’s contagious. She lights up every room she enters and you can’t help but smile in her presence. She was not only wonderful with my mom in every way possible, she was incredible with me. I learned so much from her about my mom’s dementia and how to best handle many situations. If not for an opportunity to move my mom closer to our family, we would have had Michelle spend the rest of my mom’s life with her. Every elderly person would Be so lucky to have a care taker like Michelle.
