About Michelle

I am a Certified Dementia Specialist and Certified Dementia Practitioner. I have provided direct Dementia caregiving with broader support at the initial and moderate stages and direct but more focused Dementia support at the advanced stage. This included both within my immediate family and to outside participants. I approach my responsibilities with strong compassion and dedication with an awareness for the emotional episodes that could arise. I include time for education, awareness and information on the path forward for families. Dementia Care Services: • Memory-focused activities • Companionship and emotional support to reduce confusion and agitation. • Assistance with medication management. • Coordination with healthcare professionals as needed. • Support with activities such as: dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. • Light housekeeping • Transportation to and from local activities. • Guidance and education for family members to navigate dementia care at home.
