About Michelle

I am a creative, outgoing, communicative nanny with a love of the outdoors and arts. I have lived all over the world and love to travel. After majoring in art therapy in college, I moved to RI and taught private 1-on-1 art classes from 2013 to 2019. I also began full-time nannying in 2014, working with multiple families for both short-term and long-term positions. I am a nurturing person who is attentive and organized. I love coming up with age-appropriate sensory activities, doing arts and crafts projects, playing fun games, singing and dancing, reading lots of books, and building forts! I encourage using the imagination and try to stay away from screen time. I enjoy being outdoors and love going for walks, to the park or beach, or out on excursions to the zoo or children's museum. I always keep a nanny log for the parents and believe communication is key. I hope to find the perfect family for me and build a wonderful working relationship. Michelle is a fantastic sitter. She did very well in the interview and managed to impress our family panel of interviewers. We hired her to care for my 6 and 4 year old boys while I was working. She was punctual and very flexible with our changing schedule. My kids can be challenging at times but she handled them well and had very creative activities prepared for them which they loved. Michelle truly loves kids and has a talent for engaging children in meaningful conversation that keeps them entertained for long periods of time. Another one of Michelle's talents is drawing characters. Our kids found this out early on and would always ask for different drawing so that they could color them in. Overall, I trust her with my kids, especially during these unprecedented pandemic times and I would definitely hire her again.
