About Michelle

I'm a multilingual elementary school teacher, devoted stepmom, and proud college graduate with a deep passion for nurturing young minds and sparking creativity. I genuinely love working with children, and they love me right back. I've had the joy of helping raise my wonderful stepson since he was just two-and-a-half years old. I'm conversationally fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, and Japanese, and I love connecting with others through language and culture. As a traditional artist, I draw inspiration from nature and spirituality. When I'm not teaching or creating art, you'll often find me curled up with a good book, sipping tea or coffee, or learning to carve my way down the slopes as a newbie snowboarder. I believe in lifelong learning and feel grateful to share that love of discovery with children every day.
