About Michelle

I'd describe my personality as creative, genuine and humorous. I love tutoring because I love to teach! Tutoring allows me to individualize instruction while meeting learners where they are; building confidence and instilling a love of learning. I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility in hours while maintaining my ability to work with children, craft and tailor instruction and help families reach their goals. I started tutoring when I began teaching in 2007. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, travel, read, listen to music and complete puzzles. One thing you should know about me is I am caring and professional; I enjoy connecting with students while fostering a love of learning in them! My skills include literacy skills (phonics, phonemic awareness), numeracy and math skills as well as writing and comprehension.
