My passion stems from positive experiences in previous care roles and a genuine desire to support their well-being and independence. I hold a college degree and bring patience, compassion, and a friendly demeanor to every interaction. I prioritize understanding each person's preferences and history to build strong connections. I am skilled in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I communicate with families through written daily reports and verbal updates, always following their preferred method. I offer respite care, transportation, hospice services, and assistance with errands, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medical management. I am also experienced in providing dementia and mobility assistance. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have a car, and am comfortable with pets.
